At the age of 29, Daniele Rustioni is one of the most exciting conductors of his generation. In March 2011 he appeared for the first time conducting Aida at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, where he will return in the 2013/14 season. In October 2012 made his debut at Teatro alla Scala with La bohème and was immediately re-invited to celebrate Verdi and its anniversary conducting a new production of Un ballo in maschera directed by Damiano Michieletto. The critic of THE TIMES has affirmed: “Clearly another rising talent destined for big things”.
